International Children’s Film Festival
in Krakow and other cities of Southern Poland

The Festival is an annual film event full of screenings, workshops, contests and games for children between 4 and 14 years of age and their custodians.

It takes place each year in June (before the summer school break) in Krakow and other cities in Malopolska region and beyond – Tarnow, Dabrowa Tarnowska, Oswiecim, Brzeszcze, Tuchow and Rzeszow. Each year the Festival draws in thousands of children from this part of the country.

The Main Competition includes live-action and animated, both short and feature films from all over the world that present great artistic and educational values, but because of their low commercial appeal never had the chance to be included in the repertoire of Polish cinemas.

The event is organized by Cinema Development Foundation from Krakow with the financial help from the Polish Film Institute, the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Malopolska Region and the City of Krakow.
